“Dawn Of The Gorillaz” was an artist gift conceptualized, designed, produced and presented to Damon Albarn of Gorillaz on behalf of the United Center during their show on October 3, 2022 . Based the group's love for horror films, specifically “Dawn Of The Dead”, I designed a VHS sleeve using elements from the tour’s admat to place the virtual members of the band as the main characters in this imaginary film. To give the gift some utility beyond a desk memento, we designed and 3D printed boxes that are disguised as a VHS tape fitting perfectly in the VHS sleeve.
